Quick Tips for Cleaning Your Hunting Binoculars Always use a soft lens cloth and lens cleaner. Start at the center of the lens and wipe in a circular motion towards the outer rim. Never use harsh cleaners or rough cloths (...or your dirty hunting t-shirt). Quick Tips for Sighting Your Rifle Scope Always use a gun rest to keep your shot as steady as possible. While looking through your scope, make sure the two cross hairs line up with each other vertically and horizontally, in total alignment. Continue adjusting the sight until the cross hairs meet at the exact same location. The windage adjustment should remain dead on center. Also, make sure to test your ammunition (even when fired in the exact same rifle, ammunitions will act differently). And always make sure to record your results on paper- you don't want to lose all of the info you've gained!
