Cals Sporting Armory
- Cals Sporting Armory was established in March of 1992 in Sparks Nevada
- In January of 1994 Cals Sporting Armory moved to Englewood Colorado
- In 1996 Cals Sporting Armory became a Class 3 Dealer and added sales of machine guns, suppressors, short-barrel rifles and short-barreled shotguns
- In 1997 www.calssportingarmory.com was launched offering firearms, ammunition and shooting sports accessories for sale online
- In April of 1998 the Cals Sporting Armory store-front was robbed at gun point. Two men were arrested by police a few days after the robbery, the two men were found guilty and went to federal prison for their crimes.
- In April of 2002 the Cals Sporting Armory store-front caught fire. Damage was minor and mostly smoke related, but business returned to normal after repairs were complete.
- In July of 2006 Cals Sporting Armory closed down the retail store-front location in Englewood in favor of expanding their online business
- In July of 2006 Cals Sporting Armory moved to a new office and warehouse location in Centennial Colorado.
- In July of 2006 Cals Sporting Armory went 100% online with over 8,000 products. A no public access policy was put into place for security reasons.
- In July of 2007 Cals Sporting Armory let their Federal Firearms License expire, and they stopped selling firearms and ammunition in favor of expanding their shooting sports accessory inventory to over 13,000 individual products.
- In August of 2007 Cals Sporting Armory was acquired as a division of GetGear, LLC.
- In August of 2007 the Cals Sporting Armory offices were moved to Dillon Colorado, while the warehouse location was moved to Littleton Colorado.
- In August of 2008 Cals Sporting Armory went mobile, launching www.calssportingarmory.mobi, a mobile device Internet site that will help promote the main Cals Sporting Armory website.
